L.A.Lexx
As you grow older, your circle becomes A LOT smaller. You know who and what you need in your life. As an adult, I really try to surround myself with other creatives and artists. They keep me inspired!
One of my closest friends from college, Charity, is an incredibly talented designer who introduced me to my now close friend, Alexis (LEXX). Charity goes by Vanessa Peart when it comes to focusing on her brand. You can check her out at www.vanessapeart.bigcartel.com. Lexx, on the other hand is a stylist, photographer, and blogger... you can check her out at www.adwstyling.blogspot.com.
We are all are starving artists. Following our passion, our ambitions, and our dreams. We get it and we get each other.
Which is why Charity and I completely understood when Lexx decided to arbitrarily move to LA.
I received a random text mid day from Charity.. "OMG I forgot to tell you I'm going out with Lexx tonight, she leaves for LA this weekend."
I want to say I had a meeting scheduled or possibly some editing to do... but that was no longer relevant. I immediately replied "when, where, time?"
We ended up linking in Georgetown by the waterfront. We all are foodies so we visited one of our favorites spots, Farmers Fishers Bakers. Before we even feasted we had a photo op, of course. Charity had her camera so iPhones weren't necessary!

Eventually we made our way to the restaurant to settle down. Starving... I immediately ordered their house-made crab dip.
And the conversations begin...
Charity & I began to pick at Lexx's brain about her plans for L.A. trying to figure out what was the deciding factor.
To be honest... I am so happy she made the decision because it motivated me to get somethings in order for my career.
Random: For those of you who don't know, I briefly lived in L.A...
ANYWAY
We are young... what other time do we have to make crazy sporadic decisions? One thing is for certain, time doesn't wait for anyone! We have to pursue our ambitions now before it's too late.
